Advisor and Sounding Board to Leaders on Influence and Building Support for Change
My job is to advise you on ways in which you can build support for change or influence others more effectively. Sometimes I might suggest an approach to working with an important stakeholder group that I’ve seen work well. Sometimes I might help you map out strategies, or facilitate a planning meeting.
At other times, I might act as a sounding board as you explore something you’ve been thinking about. You might think of me as the kid in the story of the Emperor’s New Clothes.
And often my clients want to learn how to apply my Change without Migraines™ approach. At those times I act as a teacher and coach.
The work is generally pretty informal. Some contracts are specific to projects, others are retainers, and some are even “drive by consultants,” as one person refers to these ad hoc phone meetings. Basically, the work is based on good conversation. And we can do that face-to-face or via phone (or better yet) Skype or WebEx.
